LAND OF KALINGA - 2 Nights/ 3 Days

Delhi-Bhubaneshwar – Konark – Puri-Delhi

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel.


Day 2: Delhi- Bhubaneshwar By Air. (1278kms/2hrs)
Board your flight to Bhubaneshwar from Delhi .Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the Hotel at Bhubaneshwar. Check in at the hotel.
	After an hour of leisure at the hotel, proceed to explore the “Temple City of India”. Your tour commences with the visit to the largest temple in Bhuvneshwar the Lingaraj Temple. The temple is said to be 1000 years old is an outstanding specimen of the Orissa style of temple building. Moving on to the Raj Rani Temple which is made from the wonderful red and gold sandstone, is said to hold the “'Guardians of the Eight Directions'”, The next stop is the Mukteshwar temple dedicated to lord Shiva.
The splendid Torana of the temple, an ornamental arched gateway, is reminiscent of the influence of Buddhism in Orissa. Parsurameshwar is the best preserved specimen of an early temple datable to the Sailodbhava period (7th/8th Century A.D). Your Tour comes to an end at the Brahmeshwar temples. The temple is said to be a fine specimen of innovative and mature Orissan style of temple building. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 3: Bhubaneshwar-Konark- Puri By Surface (60kms/2hrs)
Today you shall visit the “Oldest City of the eastern part of the country”- Puri. It is situated on the coast of the Bay of Bengal and is a popular beach resort, positioned in a unique place so that both sunset and sunrise can be viewed from the beach. Halt at Konark a popular tourist destination, though the waters are deceptively calm. Its main attraction lies in its views of the temple famous for the Konark sun temple.
The entire temple was designed in the shape of a colossal chariot with seven horses and 24 wheels, carrying the sun god, Surya, across the heavens. After the visit to the temple, drive further on to the old & traditional city of Puri. Upon arrival at Puri check – in, to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel


Day 4: Puri
	Your day is free for leisure. Enjoy Puri’s beach which is a main destination for pilgrims takig the traditional purification dip. Stretches of golden sand , crusty waves lashing the shore & an unblemise skyline greet you warmly. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Puri – Bhubaneshwar; By Surface (56 Kms /2 Hrs)
Your tour comes to an end as you depart for Delhi. You will be met and transferred to the domestic airport to board your flight to Delhi.
