Full Day combined tour of Old & New Delhi |

Full day tour of the sights of Delhi. The tour will start with exploring the bustling Old Delhi, the living legacy of the Mughals. Visit the magnificent Red Fort, overlooking the river Jamuna was built during the years 1638 - 48 when the Moghul Empire was at its peak. The tour continues to Jama Masjid pass though the bazaar of Chandni Chowk and visit the largest mosque in India, the Jama Masjid. In the second part after lunch (optional) we proceed to New Delhi, which is also known as Lutyens Delhi. See the Government Secretariat; President's Palace; Parliament House, the India Gate, built to commemorate 70,000 soldiers who died in World War I, drive along wide avenues and arrive at Humayun's Tomb, forerunner to the Taj Mahal in Agra, and considered to be the best example of a garden tomb in India. You will then proceed to see the oldest monument in Delhi, the Qutab Minar (tower of victory) built by the first Sultan, Qutab-ud-Din Aibak. It is 73-meter high minaret consisting of five stories. |

Half Day tour of Old Delhi |
Half day tour of the sights of Delhi. The tour will start with exploring Purana quila .It is 4 km away from Connaught Circus to the S-East of India Gate, the foundation of this Fort was started by Humayun in 1530 but remained incomplete as he was defeated by Afghan hero Sher-Shah-Suri in 1541. It is located in the pre-historical Indraprastha (as is surveyed and proved in 1955 findings) of the Mahabharata and completed by Sher Shah as the 6th city or Killa or the Fort. Later it was named Shergarh. After that they visit craft museum The Crafts Museum complex is a charming oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Delhi. Mud huts with painted walls and thatched roofs, courtyards, terracotta horses recreating village shrines, craftsmen at work are some of the elements that add to the rural ambience of the place. Within the museum itself are examples of traditional Indian crafts, wooden carvings and images, metalware, especially ewe Perdue objects from Bastar, West Bengal and Bihar,

Half Day New Delhi Tour |

The tour will start from visiting the Qutub Minar. It is a 239ft sandstone tower is an Indo-Islamic architectural wonder of ancient India. This magnificent tower of victory stands in the Qutab Complex located at Aurobindo Marg, near Mehrauli, 14 Km south of Connaught place in New Delhi . The complex has a number of other important monuments- the gateway built in 1310, the Alai Darwaza, Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque; one of the oldest existing mosques in India, the tombs of Altamish, Alauddin Khalji and Imam Zamin; the 2000 year old 7m high Iron Pillar- the Alai Minar; another tower 27m high, the Madrasa or School, great screen of Qutbuddin Aibak in the mosque.
